WHAT IS THE INSPIRADORES PROJECT?

It is MTW’s Social Innovation project, which aims at enhancing the soft skills of all communicators and acknowledge the importance of communication to the economy, education and society.

Inspiradores will help you discover your communication profile, get to know yourself better and to adjust your communication style to other profiles to garner more interest. You can also schedule a lecture at your school or company or, who knows, be a speaker at one of them.

With Inspiradores’ help, young people will understand the role soft skills play in their school performance and in the job market, teachers will learn how to appreciate each of their students and parents will understand and help their children to be themselves.

OUR SOURCE OF INSPIRATION

The DISC diagnosis is based on a theory by psychologist William Moulton Marston, which was published for the first time in his book “Emotions of Normal People” (1928), to assess the behaviour patterns of people in certain settings.

DISC is based on four types of behaviour – Dominance (D), Inducement (I), Submission (S) and Compliance (C) – which, together, determine our preferences.

According to this model, people who are aware of their profile are more likely to be successful in what they do and in their relationship with others. When used properly, it is a very useful tool to improve communication between people, thus increasing everyone’s rate of success and effectiveness.
